Creepy Cryssy is Coming!

Overview of Creepy Cryssy '23: What To Expect

The Creepy Cryssy 2023 build is well on its way!  We will be open to the public December 1st through January 1st, in Flox sim (a.k.a. Haunted Nawlins).  Here is an overview of what you can expect.

The Advent Calendar Game

First and foremost, Krampus has returned, and he is more powerful than ever.  He is causing chaos all over Nawlins: he has made it snow, summoned up mischievous creatures, and--worst of all--taken the Advent Calendar gifts!  There are 24 Advent gifts, all high-quality, unique items . . . a new one each day between 1 December  and 24 December 2023.

Getting those gifts away from Krampus is what the Advent Calendar Game is all about.  HUDs will be available at the Arrival Building (Free and Premium versions).  Visitors will be able to collect points as they play the game.  There will be several ways to get the gifts: naughty, nice, and neutral.

More to come as the game develops!

Naughty and Nice Sim Sections

Second, the sim will be divided into two sections.  For those who attended Howloween, this will be familiar: the Southeast quarter of the sim is designated a "Nice" area.  There will be PG-rated, family-friendly decor like pretty snow, happy snowmen, snax (snacks), and so on.

In contrast, the remainder of the sim is designated "naughty," meaning there will be darker concepts such as red snow, mischief, Gothmas decorations, and Krampus.

To find the "Nice" area, look down at the ground in front of the Arrival Building.  You can follow these signs to the SE quarter:

GIFTS!!

As always, there will be gifts in the sim.  It is the holidays, after all, and I am a sucker. :)  In addition to the Advent Gifts, there will be a "Big Tree" at the top of a hill where I and other merchants will place a few presents.  These will be free; no need to fight for them.  (I might put up a fence to keep Krampus out!)

There may also be gifts at the merchants' booths and stores throughout Haunted Nawlins.  There will be guest merchants renting booths for the event, as well as the regular merchants who populate the sim.  I encourage everyone to seek them out and bring them some business during this busy time.

Thank you.

Sim Owner / Event Designer
