There are so many ways to enjoy Haunted Nawlins in Flox sim.  The build is permanent, so there's fun year-round, but it builds to fever pitch during Halloween / Samhain / Dia de los Muertos!

P.S. - Many activities give points for your Trick-or-Treat HUD, so be sure to get one!

TRICK-OR-TREATING

Grab a Trick-or-Treat HUD at the Arrival Building (in center of sim).  Then go looking everywhere for special doors to "knock" (click) on.  If the light is on, you might get a treat! Otherwise, you will get tricked.  If you wear your HUD while doing this, you collect points--you can then trade them for free prizes at the French Market.

GUEST MERCHANT AREA

There are several booths along the Mississippi River with goodies for sale!  Even better, each has a FREE GIFT!  How about some shopping therapy between haunts? :)

"PG-ish" AREA

Our sim is rated Moderate, but we wanted to build an area friendly for all ages.  So we set aside the entire Southeast quarter of the sim as "PG-ish"--less-scary, blood-free, and safe for everyone.  To find it, follow the bat-signs on the ground from the Arrival Building and through the wrought iron gates.

CHAT WITH CHARACTERS

Find our animesh Characters roaming around the sim.  You can chat with those with nametags over their heads!  To start a chat, you must CLICK them.  (Or they just might talk to you first...)  If you say the right things, or perhaps bring them a treat, they may give you points.

FEESHING

Every Sunday 5:30-6:40pm, the Flox hosts two "feeshing" (7Seas Fishing) contests!  So come hang out, dance, chat, and above all FEESH for Halloween custom catches.  (7Seas brand rod required only for contest.)

The GREAT PUMPKIN

The Great Pumpkin rises once per hour to check if there are good boys and girls nearby!  If so, it gives out random treats.  No HUD required :)  In honor of my friend Tai'lahr, who built the original. RIP dear, we miss you.

SHOPPING!

SMASHABLE PUMPKINS

Kick, stomp, and run into these pumpkins for satisfying crunch noises.  If you smash them enough, they erupt into pieces!  (Plus, if you're wearing a Trick-or-Treat HUD, you might get points!)  If there aren't any visible, just wait a few minutes--they'll appear. :)

STORYTELLING CAMPFIRE

This time of year the area is reserved for spooky stories only!  Come sit by the campfire and listen to tales told live in Voice.  Ceir and Janna will entrance you while you nibble s'mores and enjoy the creepy sound effects.  When?  Thursdays at 8pm and Saturdays at 6pm SLT.

ZOMBIE CORNBREAD GAME

French Quarter visitors can now watch the Drunken Zombies wandering about.  If you visit the shop called "Victor's Voodoo & Vittles" and click the cornbread, you can throw it to knock them down (and get Trick or Treat points)!
